Portsmouth Public Schools has nineteen K-12 Library Media Centers that support a mission to provide their patrons with safe, orderly, inviting learning environments that promote information literacy and literature appreciation.  In efforts to produce literate citizens that recognize Libraries as valued sources of literature and information for personal growth and pleasure, Portsmouth Public School Library Media Specialists provide high quality resources, materials, services and support to meet the changing needs and interests of its patrons.
