What is the Cost?
There is no cost for the program.

What is Expected?
Students participating in the program are expected to be able to independently take care of his/her toileting needs, attend school daily and arrive to school on time, must not be receiving special education services, and have provided all enrollment documents required for Portsmouth Public Schools or have proof of employment with PPS.

Due to COVID-19, our screening process may be waived for the 2021-2022 school year.  Role models play an integral role in the classroom by demonstrating age-appropriate skills to students with disabilities.  Therefore, children participating must follow behavior and social expectations for the program, reviewed by the teacher at the beginning of the program, or may risk being removed from the program.
