For the third year in a row, Portsmouth Public Schools has earned the EVERFI’s Empowered Seal. Only 10 percent of public school divisions in the United States and Canada earn this designation.
According to EVERFI, the Empowered Seal celebrates divisions that have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to comprehensive education strategies on topics such as financial literacy, health, and careers.
PPS specifically utilizes modules for digital citizenship, financial literacy, STEM and career readiness, and social emotional well-being to help students across the division and support their development in these areas.
