Wilson High School earns NYLC honor

Wilson High earns Project Ignition grant, students to attend the National Youth Leadership Council training

Wilson logoCoordinated by the National Youth Leadership Council and funded by The National Highway Safety Traffic Administration, Wilson High School is one of just 20 teams from throughout the United States to receive $1,000 service-learning teen driver safety grants.

The grants will support student-designed and student-led campaigns aimed at preventing car crashes in their community.

Two Wilson students, Samantha Smith and Arianna Smith, will also be attending the National Youth Leadership Council training in Minnesota later this month.
