The Portsmouth Advanced Career Education (PACE) Center is a state-of-the art facility dedicated to career and technical education and designed to equip students with the practical skills and hands-on experience needed for in-demand careers in various trades and technical fields. With a focus on real-world applications, the center provides students with industry-relevant certifications and opportunities for internships, ensuring they are job-ready upon graduation.
Students from throughout the division can take part in the PACE Center as transportation will be provided to and from each high school. At the PACE Center, course offerings will include two levels of Building Trades, including masonry, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical as well as Welding and Auto Tech programs. Some programs, such as CNA and Patient Tech, are existing PPS CTE programs that are housed at the high schools and will move over to the PACE Center.
